Why compare ?

As someone wise told me once: “It doesn’t matter how many people are on your side cheering you on. If you can’t get on your own side, you can't get past, go”

There’s always the question of why we do it when it just doesn’t feel right, is it for satisfaction? Or to get that boost of reassurance and the only outcome usually (well for me anyway) is just a sense of emptiness, then I promise to never do it again until the next time (2 mins later lol). Comparing ourselves to other there will never be a win, I mean how often we compare ourselves to someone less fortunate and consider ourselves blessed? More often, we compare ourselves with someone who  have or are doing more and we just come up short.

This whole comparing thing was planted as a seed back in our childhoods when our parents say but "Tilly doesn’t make her trousers dirty" or when your teacher says "look at Henry’s work" when they simply can say "but you’re different" as everyone’s individuality is what brings diversity. Instead of trying so hard to compare our lifestyles, looks and ideas to others who do lack qualities that you possess and that is the beauty of individual differences.

If you are trapped in this bubble ask yourself this, what I’m I gaining from this? In other words, have you become a new and improved version of yourself?

We all came to the world different and that is what makes every one of us beautiful, so why deny it?

Do your thing girl xx

  1. I very much agree with your post, I had been discussing this same issue during the week. It seems to be something we all need to work on regardless of age or gender. I guess if we really have to compare we could compare ourselves to ourselves, but then we would have to remember to focus on the positives too. I really like your quote too, it's a great one to remember :)

  5. I AM AMONG THE MANY THAT SEEK THE HELP OF DR. WAKINA, WHO IS A LOVE SPELL SPECIALIST. MY ROCKY MARRIAGE CRASHED RIGHT BEFORE MY EYES THEREBY CAUSING ME TO MAKE THE DECISION THAT GOT THE DESTINY OF MY FAMILY BACK ON TRACK. DESPITE USING WAKINA SPELL, I MADE SURE MY HUSBAND RECONSIDERED RETUNING BACK TO ME WILLINGLY WITHOUT ANY PRESSURE, BUT THE CASTED LOVE SPELL WORKED ALONGSIDE HIS WILL TO BE WITH HIS FAMILY, THOUGH SOMEONE DID USED MAGIC AGAINST HIM.
DR. WAKINA VIA HIS EMAIL (DR.WAKINALOVETEMPLE@GMAIL.COM) EXPLAINED THE MAGIC THAT MADE HIM TO RUN AWAY FROM RESPONSIBILITIES. DOC SAID THOUGH HE WILL MISS HIS LOVE ONES BUT THE MAGICAL SPIRIT WONT LET HIM COMMUNICATE OR EVEN GO CLOSE TO THEM.
IT WAS A ROUGH MOMENT TO STAY WITHOUT MY HUSBAND FOR ALMOST A YEAR. BUT TODAY, THE MAN I LOVE WHOLEHEARTEDLY HAS BEEN CLEANSED OF EVERY NEGATIVE SPIRITUAL OPERATION BY DOCTOR WAKINA.
